Kia ora! Talofa!
It's coming up 30 years since I last recorded an episode of You and Me! Back then I might have been talking to the preschool version of you, who is now a parent, or a parent who is now a grandparent.
I can't tell you how exciting it is that so many stars have aligned to enable me to bring back You and Me, after all these years. It was such a joy to be a part of the team that created the original series but, believe it or not, it is even more exciting to be bring the series back, now, because I would love for you and your whanau to take 30 minutes out of your week and join me for a kōrero, a song and a story - a gentle, wee repreive in this fast paced world.

This Week: In the first episode of this brand new series... we make playdough! Homemade squishy, squashy playdough. We visit a preschool environment and observe how the caregivers and tamariki ataahua - beautiful children have fun making a batch of dough and then some wonderful playdough creations to share.
Our full programme list will be found here

Each week we'll also release the song from that week's episode. You can look forward to a whole album of You and Me songs - most of them brand new, but some OG bangers, remixed, too! These songs can be listened to on your favourite streaming platform and enjoyed as part of that week's episode.
One little insight, which has made my heart sing, is that this new series of You and Me has been made with the help of so many adults/parents who, not only watched the OG series when they were small, but now have small ones of their own. It has been so heart warming seeing how excited those "big kids" are watching their own children engage and interact with the programme they'd loved when they were a child; and we hope the enjoyment that all of us have had, making this new series of You and Me, transfers through to you and your family as you view it.
